Pecularities of medical terminology in the Middle High Geman language

This study reviews the development of medical terminology, establishes features and qualities of medical terms, identifies the history of German medical terminological study. The work illustrates structural, semantical and etymological peculiarities of the descriptive, definitional and quantitative method. The results are based on the analysis of 444 medical terms of the Middle High German language of view of etymology, structure and semantics.
