Analysis of liquidity of banks and factors of its dynamics in Ukraine

Abstract

The article presents the results of the liquidity analysis of commercial banks of Ukraine during 2017-2021. The relevance of the research topic is that liquidity is one of the key indicators of reliability and stability of banks, which is of great importance in conditions of economic instability. It is proved that commercial banks comply with all mandatory standards set by the National Bank of Ukraine, the indicators for 2017-2021 exceed the regulatory values. The main internal and external factors that significantly affected the liquidity of banks during the study period are identified. Among such factors are considered social factors, the financial condition of the bank, the quality of the loan portfolio, the general state of the economy, the political situation, as well as the structure of assets and liabilities of the bank.
