Socio-demographic characteristics of children and youth of Ukraine

The article considers the sociodemographic characteristics of children and youth in Ukraine. The importance and dependence of the country's development on the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the young population are highlighted. The main changes in the number and structure of the population among children and youth for the period 2015-2020 are analyzed. The main consequences of the change in the age structure of the population on the economic and social situation of the country are determined. The distribution of the population, namely young people by level of education, is considered and the main tendencies in the field of education are highlighted.
