Discusion on the concept of «crisis diplomacy»

The article aims to define the understanding of the concept of “crisis” in modern international relations and highlight the content of the discussion regarding the concept of “crisis diplomacy”. The relevance of the topic is due to the constant modification of crisis phenomena that create new challenges for diplomacy. The work is based on the analytical-synthetic and comparative method of research, which made it possible to reveal the essence of the above categories. The author, characterizing the scientific controversy around the concept of “crisis diplomacy”, proves that the discussion is still open and modern science requires the development of a more comprehensive approach to understanding the concept of “crisis” and “crisis diplomacy”.
