Some problems of legal regulation of remote work

The article is devoted to the study of some problematic issues of legal regulation of remote labor in modern conditions. It is argued that the establishment of quarantine restrictions due to the pandemic of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) throughout Ukraine led to the extreme need to transfer workers in many areas of the economy to remote work.
The purpose of the article is to highlight changes in labor legislation in the field of remote labor, which were introduced into the Labour Code of Ukraine during the establishment and operation of quarantine restrictions, the pandemic of coronavirus disease, the legally established concept of "remote work," as well as the identification of problems, the legal regulation of the basic rights and obligations of the parties to labor relations in the field of remote work and the development of proposals for improving existing legislation in the field of remote work.
