The place of the Russia-Ukraine war in the foreign policy of the People's Republic of China

This study describes the manifestations of the position of the People's Republic of China regarding Ukraine and the Russian Federation as parties to the conflict during the Russian aggression against Ukraine in 2014- 2022 and the full-scale invasion of Russia on the territory of Ukraine from February 24, 2022. The foundations of China's foreign policy interests both in relation to Russia and Ukraine are revealed. Attention is paid to official statements and publications in the state media of the PRC, which reveal the vector of China's foreign policy in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The grounds for maintaining neutrality by China regarding the Ukrainian issue have been determined.
