Despite women’s contribution to conflict prevention and resolution, they are often excluded from peace negotiations. Women's participation in peace processes can improve outcomes before, during and after conflict. There are three conditions for this: a clear women's agenda, access to the peace process, and protection of interests within this process. This study examines the issues of women and peacekeeping. A content analysis of articles published from 2000 to 2014 was conducted. Three sets of resolutions that have been put forward throughout history have been used to organize the study. Women in the Hague Resolutions (1915), Beijing Platform for Action (1995), UN Resolution 1325 (2000).
