Policy of the Administrations of Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden Regarding Russian aggression against Ukraine

Abstract

This article examines the policy of the last two administrations of the US Presidents representing the Democratic Party, by B. Obama and J. Biden, regarding to the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The article pays attention to the political preconditions affecting the US policy in the specified case. A comparative characterization of the politics of the administrations of B. Obama and J. Biden in terms of dynamics was carried out. The author raises the question of the role of the United States as the leader of the Western world, highlights and analyzes the actions of the United States of America aimed at settling the situation and providing assistance to Ukraine.
