Humor in diplomacy of the 21st century

The article is devoted to the study of the role of humor in modern politics and diplomacy. The author emphasizes that humor is an indispensable element of a modern diplomat, which helps to establish contact with his colleagues. The article examines the connection between humor and diplomacy as one of the tools of the country's foreign policy. The functions of humor are characterized and examples of diplomats who successfully used humor in their activities are given, in particular the case of V. Zelenskyi.
