Territorial claims as a factor of the China’s Foreign Policy

Abstract

This study reflects the territorial claims of the People’s Republic of China in the Asia-Pacific region, considering the background and course of conflicts and emphasizing the foreign policy consequences. The components of the foreign policy interests of the People’s Republic of China and the military-political means of achieving them are revealed. Attention is paid to the involvement of the PRC in regional conflicts in the context of the role of its political, economic, and military power parameters in their settlement. The influence of the factor of territorial claims on the foreign policy activity of the People’s Republic of China is established.
