Linguistic and stylistic means of forming the image of Ukraine in the speeches of English-speaking politicians in the early 20s of the XXI century

The article is devoted to the analysis of linguistic and stylistic means used to create the image of Ukraine in English-language political speeches in 20s at the beginning of the 21st century. The study is based on the texts of speeches published on official government websites. The analysis outlines political speech as an important genre of political discourse. The image of the state, which is created in such speeches with the help of linguistic stylistic means, is analyzed and its most significant components are distinguished, i. e. the people, the army, the strategy of supporting Ukraine, etc.
