Archaeological heritage on the coins of the Greek Republic

The scientific work is devoted to the analysis of the depiction of the archaeological heritage on the coins of the Greek Republic. Commemorative coins were taken for analysis. The purpose of the study is to analyze the image of artifacts and archaeological monuments on coins, for which the following tasks were gradually outlined and fulfilled: to find out the quality of their representation, to find historical errors and to find out the reasons for their occurrence. The subject of the study is archaeological practice on the coins of the Greek Republic. The work used methods of visual analysis, descriptive, historical-comparative and historical-systemic methods of research. The main results are: firstly, clarification of the fact that many coins are dedicated to memorable dates; secondly, the spread of the use of subjects from Greek ceramics.
