Cтаття присвячена дослідженню трансформації ізоляціонізму в зовнішній політиці США від заснування держави до сучасності та окресленню особливостей ізоляціоністського курсу президента Дональда Трампа другої каденції. Методологія дослідження базується на компаративному аналізі історичних та сучасних джерел, методі кейс-стаді для конкретних прикладів політики Трампа щодо України, Ізраїлю, Ірану, трансформації військових структур, а також контент-аналізі публічних промов і заяв президента, що дозволяє виявити характерні риси та парадокси сучасного ізоляціонізму США.
