The article introduces research in the field of motivation and personnel management. The connection between the Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and the current motivational policy of the leading companies has been analyzed and established. Particular attention is paid to the study of the components of Facebook and Google’s motivational programs. The author, having analyzed a large number of foreign sources of information, has come to the conclusion that the purpose of motivation of the personnel is to create such conditions in which an employee can be profitable to the company, unleashes his creative potential and enjoys his work.References
