Structural shifts in the labor market: multidimensional groupings and cluster analysis.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of structural changes in the labor market of the EU countries. The analysis of the main factors determining the labor market in the new conditions is carried out. The advantages and disadvantages of automation of labor processes in various fields are identified. The main trends in labor demand are determined. A cluster analysis of the EU countries was carried out, their grouping was performed, which made it possible to distinguish three clusters and establish that the situation on the labor market is determined, first of all, by the level of development of countries, labor productivity, decent pay and a high share of those employed in the information and communication technology industries. EU countries are grouped according to the indicators used.
