Marital behavior of S. Pototsky's daughters as a manifestation of emansipation

Abstract

This study analyzes the marital behavior of representatives of one generation of the Potocki family, whose life fell on the 19th century. Immersion in the problem of interpersonal relations will contribute to a better understanding of the essence of the aristocracy of Polish origin in the imperial space. The aim is to trace the marriage behavior of the daughters of Count Stanislav Pototsky. The study was carried out using the methods of analysis and synthesis, construction, generalization, historical-comparative, historical-genetic. The marriage activity of Potocki women can be explained by the conflict between the traditionalist norms of society and the sprouts of the desire for freedom on the part of women.
