The peculiarities of translation of culture-specific items

Abstract

In this study presents the information about the classification of words-realia and the ways of translation into German language. The work is devoted to the analysis of the concept of "realia", their classification from various researchers and methods of translation into German language. There is information about the problems of representing realia into a foreign language, translation methods, which depend on various factors. The object of the article is the poem by N.V. Gogol's "Dead Souls". A comparative method was used.
