Blog activation and information activities on the Internet

Abstract

Blogging and the formation of the blogosphere as a new type of media in the information space accompanies the processes of socio-cultural transformation of modern Ukrainian society. Features of the functioning of the blog as an important component of the development of information activities on the Internet today attract researchers, theorists and practitioners. The significance of the blog and the blogosphere in Ukraine lies in the fact that with the help of a blog one can form the vision of a particular organization, influence impressions about products and services, thereby promoting them. The methodological basis of the work is the application of the method of analysis and principles for the development of electronic diaries. In the work, using a comparative method, similar and distinctive features between the blog and traditional media are identified, the advantages and disadvantages of electronic diaries over the media are specified.
