Analysis of the tonality of publications of leading political figures regarding the vaccination campaign (on the material of telegram channels)

Abstract

In this article we analyzed Telegram channels of leading political figures of Ukraine concerning publications covering the issue of the COVID-19 pandemic, the activity of this topic in the publications and their tonality were determined. As a result, we found out that the President of Ukraine has only 5 publications concerning vaccination with a predominant neutral tonality about it and the organization of vaccination. Ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has 41 posts with predominant neutral tonality. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has the biggest number of posts – 49 with neutral tonality and ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has 34 posts with predominant negative tonality about the organization of vaccination.
