The immigration policy of Joseph Biden and Donald Trump through the lens of the 2024 US presidential election

The article examines the main aspects of the migration policy of the administrations of Joseph Biden and Donald Trump. Particularly, the migration measures of past years and prospective plans for resolving the migration crisis at the US border proposed by the presidential candidates were analyzed, as well as the criticism leveled at Biden regarding the insufficiently effective policy of reducing the number of migrants. In connection with the refusal of Joseph Biden to participate in the 2024 presidential elections, the paper additionally highlights the vision of the new candidate from the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris, regarding the future methods of regulating migration processes in the country.
